Accelerated degrees are full-time undergraduate degrees delivered over two years instead of the traditional timeframe of three years.

To enable you to complete your degree and enter the world of graduate-work much faster, you will study 6 blocks of 6 weeks per year for two years. This is instead of studying the three year standard structure of 4 blocks of 6 weeks per year.

Students choosing the two year accelerated degree will study all the modules outlined for the relevant degree but in a more condensed period. Please note that not all degrees currently offer this as an option – please check before applying.

Benefits of the two year (accelerated) degree:

  • Achieve a full degree awarded by Lancaster University in 2 years
  • Graduate faster, ready for the world of work
  • Work part-time around study
  • Start when you’re ready in September, January or April
