ENTRY POINTS
As an international student you have three different entry options, allowing you to start your UA92 journey at an entry point that suits your individual academic and English language level.
- Year One (direct entry into the degree)
- Integrated Year One
- Foundation Year
When applying you will be asked to choose your entry preference. Admissions will assess your application and either issue an offer for that level or may recommend a different entry point to suit your academic/English level.
You can complete your degree in as little as two years, depending on your starting point and study preference. For example:
- Standard degree – three years to complete*
- Accelerated degree – two years to complete*
- Foundation + standard degree – four years to complete
- Foundation + accelerated degree – three years to complete

YEAR ONE (DIRECT ENTRY)
This is first year of the undergraduate degree and is the standard entry level in the UK.
On successful completion of First Year you will seamlessly progress to year two, which is the second year of a bachelor’s degree. There is no need to reapply for year one or for another visa – as long as you meet the required pass mark, you will progress onto the next stage of your studies.
Year One is perfect for students who:
- meet the entry requirements to enter university level study directly
- may have already studied in English or in a majority English speaking country and achieved the right level of language*
- may have studied a UK curriculum at school in their home country and achieved the right level of academic results*
*Students will submit academic and English documentation to prove level. English evidence will need to align to UK Student Route requirements as set out on UK Government website.
INTEGRATED YEAR ONE
This is first year of the undergraduate degree, but with additional study modules for international students. Your academic or English level may lead to us offering you entry at this level, however you should see this as an additional opportunity to be supported for success. You will experience the first-year curriculum of a UA92 degree, plus extra academic/English contact hours.
The teaching and learning experience will enable you to fully develop your knowledge and understanding of each module to prepare you for the second year of your degree. All of your standard degree modules will be taught with wider UA92 cohort.
Integrated Year One is perfect for students who:
- don’t quite meet the entry requirements to enter university level study directly (but hold equivalent to AS/A level studies)
- feel that additional support at the start of university studies will help them stand a better chance of success
- have been away from studies for a period of time
- come from a different academic environment to that of the UK
On successful completion of Integrated Year One you will seamlessly progress to year two, which is the second year of a bachelor’s degree. There is no need to reapply for year one or for another visa – as long as you meet the required pass mark, you will progress onto the next stage of your studies.
FOUNDATION YEAR
The foundation year is Stage 1 of the undergraduate study route. The transition from high school to university is a big step, perhaps the most important in your life. Staff at UA92 Global understand this, and will provide you with guidance, support, knowledge and skills you need to progress into year one.
Our staff are experienced at supporting international students in this big transition from school at home, to university in a new country. It’s a big step and we have the supportive network of experts to help.
The foundation year is perfect for students who:
- don’t meet the entry requirements to enter university level directly (but hold GCSE level qualifications)
- feel that additional support at the start of university studies will help them succeed
- have been away from studies for a period of time
- come from a different academic environment to that of the UK
- require additional English language training
On successful completion of the foundation you will seamlessly progress to Integrated Year One, which is the first year of a bachelor’s degree. There is no need to reapply for year one or for another visa – as long as you meet the required pass mark, you will progress onto the next stage of your studies.
